'Double Fresh' is the acronym for the project titled: 'Towards a new generation of healthier and tastier ready meals with fresh ingredients'. The project is supported by the European Commission and lasts from September 2006 to August 2009.

At a workshop held on 2 April 2009 in Wageningen, research findings of the project were presented to the public, as well as some new insights and challenges ahead in R&D in the field of ultra fresh and chilled meals.
